Eiger was started from a business by Ronny’s father, Lukman Lukito. In 1953, he started a bag shop business in a 3m2 shop on Jalan ABC No. 3, Bandung.

The story began with Lukman Lukito, two sewing machines, a small room, and two employees. Lukman’s visionary son, Rony Lukito, used these humble facilities to establish Exsport in 1979 and turn the company into one of the best bag producers in Indonesia. The company grew further when in 1989, the company established Eiger, and in 1997, established Bodypack. Eigerindo MPI is now a large ecosystem with 2500 employees, 152 stores, gained multiple awards (UPAKARTI 1992, Arch of Europe Gold Star Award 1996) and certificates (ISO 9001-2000 in 2008).

Besides its unique and eye-catching design that stands out among industrial environment of South Bandung, this base also distinguished for its facilities.

The Store

To bring all of its products closer to the customer, Eigerindo MPI keeps growing and establishes its first store at Jalan Cihampelas, Bandung. It continued to expand up until today in which over 152 stores which consist of the flagship store, store, counters, and showroom that spread throughout Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Bandung, Cirebon, Surabaya, Kediri, Bali, and many more.
